QQI Guarding Skills Day 3

This course is aimed at those who wish to work in the area of static retail; and will provide participants with the skills necessary for work as a security guard in shops; factories, and building sites. Cash in transit employees are also required to complete this course.
The course involves a combination of home and in-class study. 70 hours of home study must be completed before 30 hours of class learning can take place. There are two examinations at the end of the course – one a theory exam, and the other a practical exam relating to the particular field of study.
On completion of this course the participant will be able to apply for a PSA licence to work in any area of static retail – excluding licensed premises.
The course will take place over 5 days – Thursday 13th/Friday 14th/Thursday 20th/Friday 21st and Thursday 27th August. €200 for the entire course.
