Abrasive wheels training is a legal requirement for anyone involved in the purchase and selection; storage and handling; mounting; dressing and use of abrasive wheels; whether they are fixed or portable.
Objectives of the course
To ensure that on completion of the course the participants will:
- Understand the risks involved in using abrasive wheels
- Select correct wheel and mount
- Recognise damaged wheels
- Safely store abrasive wheels
Training takes approx 4.5 hours to complete and certification is valid for 3 years
