Compliance Officer Awareness Training (General)

This training course covers issues that would be viewed as essential for designated compliance personnel dealing with the threat and dangers imposed by the spread of COVID-19 in the work environment, including the return to work process.

Some companies may use different terminology to describe this compliance role, such as ‘Lead Worker Representative’; ‘Compliance Warden’; ‘Lead Worker Ambassador’ or ‘Compliance Marshall’.

Following the Irish Government’s recent protocol, this is a mandatory role required of all Irish workplaces during this time.The programme is approximately 1 hour long and is divided into 3 sections:

1. Section 1 discusses COVID-19, how it is spread, its symptoms, and how to protect ourselves and others at work.
2. Section 2 examines the role of the Compliance Officer and the duties and workplace practicalities that fall under this designated role.
3. Section 3 looks at broader areas that need to be considered, such as Health & Safety documentation; how to respond to suspected or confirmed instances of COVID-19; the prevention of cross-contamination; and first-aid responder guidance.
